FAQ
The Fortus upgrades do not require any hardware modifications or software exploits, in fact they are done using the same method the OEM uses. After selecting your desired options you will then be provided with a configuration that you can upload using Control Center. This eliminates the need for any onsite visits as everything can be done remotely.
After purchasing an upgrade package, it will take around 1-2 days to receive the configuration for the machine. The upgrade process itself will only take 10-15 minutes using Control Center so you won’t need to worry about machine downtime.
Since we use the same method as the OEM, this unlock should not void your warranty. However, your reseller and/or service technician could choose not to honor the warranty and blame it on unauthorized 3rd party services. That being said our unlock is 100% reversible in the event you need to revert back to your default material configuration. You can always contact us if you have any questions regarding our services and your warranty.
Yes, we will provide you codes for both the new configuration, as well as recreate your current configuration. So should you choose to revert back to your original settings you will be able to do so on the fly.
